I really like the Turkish way of life, keeping what's working instead of buying new one to replace it. If there's a problem, they will find a way to fix it. For e.g. instead of waiting for the government to develop public transportation, they have mini bus in each city/town operated by independent driver. Long distance bus companies served coffee/tea/cola, cookies, chocolates during long journey on a cart just like what an inflight beverage cart is, I am so impressed, and I have traveled 5 continents.
