Reflecting on Christmas: A Planner’s Evaluation

It’s that time of year again where we reflect on the holidays and start to plan for the next year. In this article, I’m going to share with you my post-Christmas evaluation process and how I plan for the upcoming year.

What Went Well

I took some time to process and evaluate how Christmas went for my family. Despite the kids getting ill, we still managed to have a lovely Christmas with some memorable moments. This includes planning a store cupboard procurement schedule, implementing a finance and budgeting spreadsheet, and scheduling a thorough decluttering of our home. I’ve also added tasks like creating a social media and content schedule and planning for new business products.

To Buy List

I’ve identified some new purchases needed for the upcoming year, such as winter cushions, a new Christmas tree for the kids’ rooms, and possibly a new bedding set. These items will help refresh our living space and add to the holiday spirit.

Children’s Favorite Presents

I’ve taken the time to understand what my children’s favorite presents were from this Christmas. It’s interesting to note their preferences, and it will help me plan better for future holidays and gift-giving occasions.
