Kinda disappointed that the "strength coach" didn't tell Hank to go parallel or below for the squat. I wonder how much more his power would have gone up if he had worked the entire range/muscles for a proper squat. However, nicely done Hank.

Hank, great video – really impressed that narrow of a focus for 30 days had a ~30% peak power increase! How much did the Whoop tracking factor in or limit any other training you did beyond the 100 sq/day baseline? Do you think the results would have been different without Whoop? Maybe you and Conor should do a head to head challenge, one with Whoop and one without!
Knowing that Hanks best friend is Mark Beaumont, I can only assume that 4am night was a massive effort. Tandem beer drinking.

I don't understand how this idea/video got made. Everyone at GCN is very experienced at cycling, training, many are ex-pros. Each knows how to do a squat, each knows how a few days of rest is needed between strength-training sessions, not just a good night's sleep. What was this, an ad for Whoop?

Surely two days off at the end before retesting would have had different results for FTP and 20 second power.
