Money clip? Like… for physical bills? Paper bills? They still use paper money in America?
Wow, how retro. I haven't carried physical money in a decade.
The best is whatever works for you and your particular circumstance. IMHO best quality, lowest quality are just terms that some mistakenly attribute to a persons self concept.
Only use cardholder or pay with my phone. Haven’t used cash in many years.
I like your channel this was a great video with uselful information as always but I'll take my full grain, top grain, chromexcel and shell cordovan wallets any day over mass produced wallets that costs ridiculous amounts of money and the quality of the leather is very low . I have owned Gucci wallets that look beautiful and cost upwards of $600 and they didn't last more than 5 years tops. Some of the wallets that were featured in this video are brand name over priced mass produced garbage that last a couple of years before they start ripping and looking horrible . I found that if you buy a wallet from a wallet maker such as Ashland, Popov leather, Saddleback, Opensea leather and Lost Dutchman to name a few you will have a very beautiful, classy high quality leather wallet that will last a lifetime unlike the wallet that costs thousands of dollars at a boutique or upscale retailer. Also i have found that those small independent companies will be much more responsive to a customer's concerns or complaints unlike big companies that could care less about their customers . That's just my take and honestly I would rather spend $50 -$350 on a handmade wallet than $600+ on a mass produced brand name wallet any time. You'll find that you will have a great wallet and excellent customer service which is priceless in itself.
He talks too much lips move but doesn’t say anything
I get being a gentleman. But this seems obsessive
when i was young my dad said don't use a money clip because people will see all your cash.put away in a wallet is best. i use a smaller wallet from the Duluth Pack company.heavy leather and slots for cards and driver's license hide everything.the little cash i carry go's in a pocket.
I love this channel . However , mentioning an elephant wallet was a very poor move .
I wonder, is there a protocol describing where you should hold your wallet? I mean, what pocket, trousers, jacket, etc… What is the correct use of all your other pockets. This may seem frivolous, but after some real-life scenarios and experimenting, I've got to say, it's paramount to wallet use and/or pocket use. I just wonder if there are guidelines for this subject from which I could learn on. Thx.
Carbon fiber Ridge wallet with a money strap. Looks nice, holds your cards (with rfid protection), and some bills. It’s 2022, and I just don’t see people carrying a lot of cash and carrying a bunch of cards (10+ cards) with them. Doesn’t make you any less “refined” imo. As long as you go with the premium styles ridge offers.
Is this guy the voice of Kermit the frog?
There's no modern £1 note. Its a coin and has been for some time
Got away from conventional wallets.
Front pocket user and went to Ridge type wallet. Sometimes just a rubber band. Lol
My Saddleback Leather wallet is super thin, holds all my cards and various sizes of cash. Plus they are warranted for life. Basic, well constructed and real quality leather.
I discovered the vertical bifold many years ago. They tend to be slimmer. However, they are very hard to find in stores.
I have a black leather coffin shaped wallet with metal studs at the corners. It flips open and fastens shut with a button. It also says, Never Trust The Living on the front. Only problem is it doesnt have a coin purse or bill slot. It's a bit of a goth style, but i think its slim size and black color can fit with just about any style.
Call me old fashioned but when travelling I carry two wallets, both Swaine Adeney. One is a coat wallet because I like the smooth non-bulky line of a coat wallet, plus a regular wallet for the back pocket when not wearing a jacket. Yes, it can be a bit awkward moving cash and cards from one to the other, but it works for me.
There is no doubt we still need wallets, more these days for plastic than paper, so wallets need to be functional and attractive. On functional, it's important to consider digital (RFID) protection, and on attractive nothing beats a quality built attractive (classic) looking wallet.
Gave up carrying a wallet last year because I realized that it was completely unnecessary. The country I live in plans to phase out all cash by 2025 and I haven't used cash here in years. All my cards and id are on my phone I have no keys because all doors I access are keyless. I just need to leave the house with my phone. I used to think that I liked having a wallet, but now I look at it as just another thing to keep track of, and carrying one would just be redundant.
Nice. I just ordered a new wallet. I hope it meets the standard.
Mont Blanc credit card holder is perfectly sufficuent for my needs and looks and feels nice.
Rafael: Claims he is german
also Rafael: inches feet and pounds
We haven’t had a £1 note in the UK since 1988.
Could you analyse the style of raymond reddington from "The Blacklist" please? He is one of my favorite characters in fiction and has a, as I think, very cool style and I would love to see a expert analyse it.
I've got a leather wallet, lights brown colour, made in England. My grandfather used it, my dad used it and now I'm using it. Its easily 50 years old.
I thought paper money was invented in the 11th century
The biggest problem with a good wallet, is that in our country we use a lot of coins (euros is currency) so in most cases the coin part is getting broken for a lot.
Great video guys. I wouldn’t look to spend more than £100 on a wallet as I don’t have need to use it everyday.
I tried using a cheaper leather wallet and it held up for maybe a year, planning to invest a little more for a higher quality wallet soon
The pockets for credit-cards MUST face the fold and not 'up' where a worn wallet will spill the contents.
I’ve had a Ridge wallet for 4 years. Gpt replacement parts free of charge. Small and compact, enough space for a few cards and some cash. 10/10
Quality does count. I had many regular wallets that don't last but my Gucci wallet is still hanging in there after 20 years.
Especially in these times my chain wallet has kept my valuables safe several times from pick pockets, doesn't go well with long overcoats though with it bulging. My inside pocket becomes my wallet at that point and people dont mess with people with long coats.
Business cards 100%! Not essential, but it makes an impression.
I have a zip up cordura wallet (due to the nature of my job, and a coat wallet that only comes out of my neck pocket about 1.5 inches
$400? You're crazy.
Yes I believe a wallet-free society
Hello, I'm a huge fan of the 1910s and I was wondering if you could make a video on from what I've learnt people call it, a Open crown hat? It's a bowler with a large brim, anyway, just wondering if you could make a video on it because I'd love to learn some more about it! Thank you!
I use a Coach card holder. Theres 3 card pockets on one side. A clear id pocket on the other and a middle slot where you can fit folded bills. Its way thinner than any folding wallet.
