I am trying to focus on having a minimalistic wardrobe and having another bag just for a gym seems a bit excessive, if I can use my leather bag for both gym and weekend trips. Glad I came across this video. I had a cheaper messenger bag when I was younger and could never explain why I didn’t use it. You hit it spot on.. not as utilitarian compared to a backpack and not dress enough for business.
Definitely will look for a briefcase now. I think sometimes men have the tendency to think the less formal option is more sensible, but not in this situation.

As I get older (50 is just around the corner), I have moved away from black. Finding a rich chocolate brown more age appropriate.

I think it's so better when we don't get hurt by different opinions, specially when it's about style, which is something that has so much room for personal opinions, cultural differences from place to place, different life style, sometimes something that doesn't fit so well in the majority of people could fit well to some few people. Any video that tried to cover all of this possibilities would last forever, so I understand that most of them will cover a general idea, considering the places where most of the audience comes from, considering what looks good to most of the people, and so on. That's why I usually watch a lot of channels when it comes to style, different opinions from people that understand about it helps me to develop my own way to think about it and make my own decisions. I love different opinions. (Although in this case, in this video, I agree 100%.. 😀 )
