The Southeastern Anatolia Exporters Association (GAIB)

Then, upon the need, Birliği Cereals-Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters Union ”and“ Dried Fruits and Products Exporters Union ”were established in 1986 under the same General Secretariat. Finally, in order to respond to the needs of the textile industry, which shows a rising graphic within the developing industry, 1989 Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Union ”came into operation in 1989 and“ Southeast Anatolia Exporters Unions ”or“ GAİB kısa was formed. On the other hand, there are liaison offices in Diyarbakır, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya, Şanlıurfa, Mardin, Cizre and Gaziantep Free Zones depending on the Center.

Their Goal

The aim of the General Secretariat is;

To bring the problems, demands, opinions and suggestions experienced by the companies that are members of our unions to the agenda of Union Boards and Sector Boards,

To take necessary initiatives with the relevant authorities as a result of the decisions taken and to contribute to the solution of the problems experienced by our exporters and

To increase the export of the country. it is located. In this context; of firms who are members of our armed forces in order to increase the international competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy, Turkey Exporters Assembly of the Union Board with our industry conduct of Boards determined by the project, coordinating the business activities, our exporters to be represented successfully in national and international platforms, so that 2023 export target to confidently towards is one of the most important objectives of the General Secretariat.

Güneydoğu Anadolu İhracatçı Birlikleri (GAİB) , farklı sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren dört ayrı “İhracatçılar Birliği”nin tek çatı altında, diğer bir deyişle tek Genel Sekreterlik bünyesinde toplanmasıyla meydana gelmiştir. 80'li yıllarda Türkiye'nin küçük baş canlı hayvan ihracatının yoğunlaştığı ve sanayisindeki hızlı gelişmelerle dikkati çeken Gaziantep ve Bölgesinde ihracatı geliştirmek, yönlendirmek ve daha da önemlisi Bölge ihracatçılarını bir çatı altında toplamak ve karşılaşılan bürokratik sorunlara mahallinde çözüm getirmek amacıyla 1984 yılında Merkezi Gaziantep'te bulunmak üzere “Güneydoğu Anadolu Canlı Hayvan-Su Ürünleri ve Mamulleri İhracatçıları Birliği” kurularak çalışmalarına başlamıştır.

Daha sonra, ihtiyaç duyulması üzerine, 1986 yılında aynı Genel Sekreterlik çatısı altında “Hububat-Bakliyat, Yağlı Tohumlar ve Mamulleri İhracatçıları Birliği” ile “Kuru Meyve ve Mamulleri İhracatçıları Birliği” kurulmuştur. Ve nihayet gelişen sanayisinin içerisinde yükselen bir grafik gösteren tekstil sektörünün ihtiyacına cevap vermek üzere de 1989 yılında “Tekstil ve Hammaddeleri İhracatçıları Birliği” faaliyete geçerek “Güneydoğu Anadolu İhracatçı Birlikleri” ya da kısa adıyla “GAİB” meydana gelmiştir. Diğer taraftan, Merkeze bağlı olarak Diyarbakır, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya ,Şanlıurfa, Mardin, Cizre ve Gaziantep Serbest Bölgesinde de irtibat büroları bulunmaktadır

Hedefimiz

Genel Sekreterliğimizin hedefi; Birliklerimize üye olan firmaların yaşadığı sorunları, talepleri, görüş ve önerileri Birlik Yönetim Kurulları ile Sektör Kurulları'nın gündemine taşımak, alınan kararlar neticesinde ivedilikle ilgili merciler nezdinde gerekli girişimlerde bulunmak, bu yolla ihracatçılarımızın yaşadığı sorunların çözümüne, ihracatın önündeki engellerin kaldırılmasına ve ülke ihracatının artırılmasına katkıda bulunmaktır. Bu çerçevede; Birliklerimize üye olan firmaların uluslararası rekabet gücünü artırmaya yönelik olarak Ekonomi Bakanlığınca, Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisince ve Birlik Yönetim Kurullarımız ile Sektör Kurullarınca belirlenen projelerin yürütülmesi, ticari faaliyetlerin koordine edilmesi, ihracatçılarımızın ulusal ve uluslararası platformlarda başarı ile temsil edilmesi, bu sayede 2023 ihracat hedeflerine doğru emin adımlarla ilerlenmesine katkı sağlamak, Genel Sekreterliğimizin en önemli amaçları arasındadır.
