Hey. I’ve started to lift weights for goals of developing my strenght. I use an outside gym that has very limited equipment. It has machines for bench press, incline bench press, squat and bicep curls. I’m working out full body on monday, wednesday and friday.
What should I train a day for whole body? Should I do more than 1 exercise for each (push, pull, legs) per day? What would be your suggestions? I can’t find good programs inlcuding my conditions. Thanks

I've never liked, subscribed, and hit the bell so damn fast before. Really, really well said, easy to understand, straight to the point, just the right amount of detail. As a novice, it's nice to find something that finally resonates.
Strength training is for your compound lifts, hypertrophic training is for isolation movements. Every workout should include both

So this is where I complicated it. I didn't think that was enough working out…so …I started doing(after the 6×5) I started doing 6 sets of 5 with the weight that I had passed. So at that point for about 4or 5 months I did 6×5 with 25 Lb and then 6×5 with 20 Lb. The transition went well from 15 to 20 Lb. The change from 20 to 25 was a little harder. But I got stuck when I tried to go to 30 Lb. So I thought that perhaps I needed also a body building exercise to help this. So now after the 30 Lb sets I do three sets of 12 with 15 Lbs. I just don't know if I'm shooting myself in the foot or not since there is no personal trainer available to me.
Anybody please answer this. I do 6 sets of 5 curls. With one dumbell in each hand I do right/left/right/left…that would be two(with each arm) so I do right/left till I get to 10
which is 5 with each arm. Is this my best option ?
I’m thinking of increasing from 5 lbs to 8 lbs and i just had surgery almost a year ago. Good or bad?

so is it good to do 5×5 of the same movement and 1 or 2 sets of 1 and then just do one set if oyu have energy of 20-30 reps of the same movement and train like this 4x a week do one light day you switch between one movement every week out of the golden 5
