Where are most of these Containers coming from?….after all that has happened over the past year plus I can't imagine that people are still continuing to 'shop 'til they drop' buying goods made in an overseas Country that has caused so much havoc in so many critical spheres affecting all of us.

The shortage of truck drivers suck but theres also a problem with backordered parts for those same trucks and is causing a lot of downtime on the vehicles.. which is also just as bad as not having drivers. People need to quit being lazy and get back to work. Screw the virus and take your chances

And what's really sad is the ports of Entry don't have that many crane operators per Port Lane it's like a Runway at airport and you can't use day labor because all they're going to do is see where they can hide in the corner cuz of that One on One Direction day labor ain't going to get it done

  5. joseph Buck says:

I used to train drivers and it was usually like 1 out of 100 that would stick out Trucking as a career usually they took a truck driving job just to run away from home only one out of a hundred went to trucking for a career and far as what they call driver bonuses for sign on there's far too many incidences where the drivers would sign the contract and never show up and just collect a paycheck and run away that's where if they bother to wake up Elon Musk and formally request him use his trucks to work the ports at least for the shortfall and not worth it not until they're ready to work them in permanently at least then they wouldn't have to depend on Union truck drivers demanding more wages for no reason other than they're taking advantage as the situation the country is in

  6. joseph Buck says:

Well someone needs to call out Elon Musk this is the one chance that he has to prove that is autonomous trucks are useful for Freight at least then you wouldn't have to put up with Union Dock Workers being on a Slowdown and let alone the truck drivers the owner operator truck drivers trying to Blackmail the Brokers for more money

  7. S L says:

If Trump were in office this would have been taken care of a long time ago. Biden’s Administration doesn’t have the brain capacity to deal with issues. Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.
